The ‘Futures of (I)CSOs’ ambition supports (I)CSOs in implementing the transformational changes needed within their organisations to become more agile and respond to emerging realities in our world. We strengthen the capacity of (I)CSOs in strategic foresight and support proactive approaches for the sector to adapt to crucial issues such as powershift, governance, and digital transformation, with an emphasis on both probable and preferable futures for (I)CSOs.

Civic space
We support and strengthen civic space. We work collectively and collaboratively to support CSOs so they can remain operational in increased times of pressure. We support resilience and solidarity mechanisms to keep civic space open and thriving when confronted with shrinking civic space. We actively work towards strengthening space for civil society engagement, facilitating dialogues with decision-makers at the local, national, and global levels.

In a world where power is shifting towards those on the frontlines of impact, we are committed to supporting marginalised communities, by ensuring that local actors and communities have the tools and resources to make their voices heard especially in decision making processes. Using citizen data, we enable communities to not just participate, but to lead the conversation on the issues that affect them most.
