The Leave No One Behind Partnership is a network of actors that believe in locally grounded, inclusive and evidence-driven development. Our work aims to build a bridge between the local, national and global levels, believing collaboration and solidarity are key to solving complex development challenges. We believe that small and large civil society organisations – at all levels – need to work together to solve the inclusion challenge, and can greatly benefit from each other’s unique skills, reach and perspectives.
Our current membership is regulated through a partnership agreement that runs until 2030. It comprises a blend of first and foremost international civil society organisations, national civil society organisations, national civic platforms, campaigns and networks, think tanks, and constituent-led organisations, totalling about 100 members, which, in turn, leverage partner networks of 3000+ organisations in total.
Through our national coalitions, we work with a broad range of thousands of grassroots organisations as local partners. At the global level, we further work with a range of strategic partners that share the same belief with us in a development that is more inclusive, rights- and evidence-driven. Among them are, for example, the United Nations Statistics Division, the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data, or the Danish Institute for Human Rights.
If you are interested in joining us:
We are an action-driven and collaboration-based platform, meaning if you are interested in signing up as a member, either at the global level or in one of our country coalitions, you are expected to engage actively in our collaborative actions. This means, for example, that we cannot accept membership requests from national civil society organisations that operate outside our eight partner countries. If you apply for membership as an organisation that has a global work scope and infrastructure, you should either be willing to engage your country affiliates in our action countries or actively support us with your capacities in some of our international efforts.
We also work with “strategic partners” from outside the civil society sector at the global level who are closely aligned with our mission but cannot join us as members due to their statutory setup. Like in the case of civil society organisation members, we seek an action-based involvement with us and are happy to explore with your organisation concrete options for engagement.
