Many organisations have already adapted and pivoted this year to unforeseen changes, during this time of realignment it is important to think longer term and set the course for new opportunities and transformation that will ensure there is a flourishing civil society in the future  where values of  participation and inclusivity, social justice and human rights, participation and accountability and solidarity are promoted and protected.  

Global Perspectives 2025 is a unique online convening designed to explore how civil society can not only survive but thrive in these turbulent times. Bringing together diverse voices, experts, leaders and practitioners from across disciplines, the event will foster dialogue on the pressing questions facing our sector and highlight opportunities for collaboration, solidarity, and innovation. 

Across three days from 18 –20 November, participants will engage with: 

  • Diverse perspectives: Panels and discussions that bring together different experiences and approaches, reflecting the richness and complexity of global civil society which are navigating the most pressing challenges of the moment. 
  • Innovative ideas and hopeful narratives: Sessions that explore practical, creative, and forward-looking strategies for strengthening civic engagement and collective action. 
  • Interactive engagement: Opportunities to contribute, question, and share insights with a global community committed to building a more resilient and unified civil society.
