SANE Working Group meeting 2025

  •  13th May 2025 - 15th May 2025
     7:00 pm - 4:00 pm

📅 13-15 May | 📌 London, UK 🇬🇧

The SANE Working Group Meeting takes place once a year, either virtually or in person, to discuss long-term goals and ambitions for SANE, and to exchange on civic space needs and priorities of its members.

Launched in 2020, the Solidarity Action Network (SANE) aims to strengthen resilience of and solidarity among civil society actors when faced with civic space restrictions or changing operating conditions. The network fosters the sharing of experiences, lessons learned, and best practices through resources such as the Solidarity Playbook, online and in-person events, and the SANE Resource hub. It also encourages discussions on the key sector topics such as digital trends impacting civic space or strengthening anticipatory capacities and future readiness.

The Working Group, composed of representatives from international and national civil society organisations, provides strategic guidance to shape SANE’s priorities and activities, ensuring they meet the needs of civil society actors. The group convenes for bi-monthly calls to discuss ongoing developments and holds an annual strategic meeting to review SANE’s long-term goals and ambitions as well as provide space for peer exchange and support among its members.
