As part of the Centre’s work to improve the effectiveness of international civil society organisations (ICSOs) we offer coordination and support services for selected joint projects of major ICSOs.
Global Standard for CSO Accountability
Over the period of three years, the project is bringing together nine Project Partners, and the Project Delivery Team, to exchange expertise and build a Global Standard based on their own existing accountability standards. The Global Standard Project Partners want to join forces behind a new global reference standard that defines the core elements of accountability world-wide, no matter what issues you work on.

We host the Accountable Now Secretariat - a global platform that supports CSOs to be transparent, responsive to stakeholders and focused on delivering impact.
Accountable Now was founded in 2008 under the name International NGO Charter of Accountability by ten leading CSOs, including development, humanitarian, environmental, rights-based and advocacy organisations. As Membership and global collaboration increase, their collective voice is strengthened. Today, they have 26 Member Organisations which are active in more than 150 countries and impact stakeholders all over the world.
